• One person at one address: One service assignment.

• Two people at the same address: Primary service fee plus $30 for the additional person, when service can reasonably be completed during the same visit.

• One person at two different addresses: The additional address is subject to the applicable additional-address fee.

This structure allows Docket & Serve to account fairly for the time, travel, and documentation required for each service assignment.

Routine, Priority, and Rush services include up to four attempts at the provided address, subject to the selected service level and assignment circumstances.

Standard proof/return preparation based on the service performed is included.

Additional charges may apply for:

• Additional addresses;

• Additional people;

• Attempts beyond those included in the selected service;

• Extended waiting or stakeouts;

• Enhanced address research;

• Travel outside the standard service area;

• Weekend or holiday priority service; or

• Other circumstances requiring additional resources.

The included attempts represent the service effort covered by the selected service package. Docket & Serve cannot guarantee successful service because completion depends on circumstances outside our control.

These may include:

• Whether the individual is present;

• Accuracy of the provided address;

• Access to the property;

• Applicable legal service requirements;

• Weather, traffic, or other conditions; and

• Other circumstances affecting lawful service.

Our goal is to make diligent attempts and provide accurate documentation of the service activity.

Once the attempts included with the selected service package have been completed, additional attempts may be requested at: $30 per additional attempt

If the client provides a new address, the assignment may instead be treated as an additional address and subject to the applicable additional-address fee.

Docket & Serve will communicate when an assignment reaches the included attempt limit whenever reasonably practicable.

Same-Day Priority means Docket & Serve will make the first service attempt on the same calendar day the assignment is accepted, provided the assignment is received before the applicable cutoff time and the location is reasonably serviceable.

Same-Day Priority does not guarantee successful service that day.

If the individual is not present or service cannot otherwise be completed during the first attempt, additional attempts may be required.

What if I need more than one person served?

When multiple people can reasonably be served at the same address during the same service trip, the additional-person fee is: +$30 per additional person

What if I need service at another address?

An additional local address is: $50 per additional address

This includes one attempt at the alternate address.

If the new address requires a substantially different service assignment, additional fees may apply based on the circumstances.

When is payment required?

Will I be notified before additional charges are incurred?

Whenever reasonably practicable, yes.

Docket & Serve strives to obtain client authorization before incurring material charges outside the original assignment.

Certain necessary charges may arise during an active assignment. Clients should remain available for time-sensitive authorization requests.

To help us begin your assignment promptly, please provide as much of the following information as possible:

• Full legal name of the person to be served;

• Complete service address;

• Alternate addresses, if known;

• Phone number or other identifying information, when lawfully available;

• Documents requiring service;

• Case name and cause number, when applicable;

• Court and county;

• Deadline or requested service date;

• Known safety or access concerns;

• Special instructions relevant to lawful service; and

• Contact information for the requesting attorney, law firm, or client.
